I have always had a love of mechanical engineering. As a child I would build cars from my imagination using different Lego sets, draw custom cars using isometric drawing format, and fix my go-cart on the weekends. As an adult, I have brought my love of mechanical engineering and imagination into my business.
I first graduated Universal Technical Institute in 2002 with a degree in Automotive Technology. After working for a dealership for about a year, I moved on to manufacturing. After many years of working in various manufacturing jobs I decided to further my education in manufacturing, but focusing on CAD and CAM. In 2014 I graduated from Gateway Community and Technical College with an Associate degree in applied sciences.
After graduating I attended Northern Kentucky University for a couple years studying for mechanical engineering. During this time I was also involved with the university’s SAE Baja program. During my time with the Baja program I used my automotive background to assist other students on designing and building the car each year.
Recently I started my path in Gunsmithing as a machinist. I am now able to machine parts for firearms as well as assemble kits for customers.
I have worked in various machining shops for over 20 years running everything from mills with tombstones making several parts at once, to a 100 tool turret punch press. I have made expensive, high tolerance parts as well as low tolerance parts.
